L’escrivania is located in the beautiful center of Porreres. During 400 years it was the town council, after that it was a indoor market even a prision. In the 20th century it was a commercial purpose building. A few years ago we did a deep building reform to recover the original structure. We brought to the daylight the original stone, where we found some surprises like some engraves of prisoners. The result is a landmark building where you can breathe the atmosphere of the lived story, in addition to all this, nowadays it is the headquarters of the gastronomic project, l’Escrivania.
